NGC 4319, with Markarian 205

I took this image from my back yard, just for fun. Next to the small spiral galaxy, NGC 4319, is a Quasar called Markarian 205. Some astroimages are said to show a bridge of connecting material between these two galaxies, even though the red shift of Mar 205 suggests it is 15 times further away than NGC 4319. My short exposure (only 20 minutes through a 130mm F/6 apochromat, using an SBIG ST-8XE CCD) doesn't show the "bridge", but the objects were of interest to me, hence this picture. At stake was whether red shift measurements were reliable methods to judge cosmic distances. Most of the scientific community embraces their validity.
